Dodge Journey set for 2007 Frankfurt reveal

The Journey is Dodge's attempt at creating a global passenger vehicle through a combination of versatility and flexibility. The Journey is said to combine the practicality of a minivan, the capability of an SUV and the overall efficiency of a passenger car. Flexible seating and storage combinations include standard five-passenger seating with spacious cargo room and available 5+2 seating, for times when you're required to lug additional passengers along.

It's pleasing to see that stability control and Electronic Roll Mitigation are both available as a standard feature on the Dodge Journey.Storing things "under the front seat" takes on a new meaning, thanks to Journey’s available in-seat storage. The Journey’s front passenger seat cushion flips forward to reveal a large 273 x 222 mm bin under the seat cushion. The seat cushion is hinged, and when flipped forward, provides access to the storage bin.

Dodge Journey’s rear doors open 90 degrees, making it easier for people to get in and out of the second row and gain access to the available third-row seat.My favourite Dodge Journey feature? Located in the floor behind the front-row seats are two standard in-floor storage bins. These storage bins are built to hold ice for refrigeration, and can hold up to half a slab of beer each.

The Dodge Journey looks like the perfect vehicle to take out for a weekend of camping and fishing.
