Ford Focus big winner in new ANCAP safety ratings
Aug 7th, 2007 by Motor Dude
The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) today released its latest round of crash test results. Today's release focused on 'small' cars. The stand out performer was the Ford Focus, which, on paper appears to be one of the safest cars in Australia (if you were to take up the ESC option).
The Ford Focus XR5 looks like providing the best "bang for your buck" in the Australian market at the moment, with a first class mix of safety and performance.
The table below summarizes the results released today.
