Holden Torana TT36 Concept
Jul 9th, 2007 by Motor Dude
It's been almost 3 years since Holden took the covers off their Torana TT36 concept at the Australian International Motor Show. Whilst the Torana concept is not likely to make it into production any time soon, echoes of it's design can be seen in the 2006 VE Commodore.

It wasn't just the hot pink paint job that caught my eye in 2004, it was also the 280kW 3.6 litre Alloytec V6 engine complete with twin KO4 Garrett turbochargers. Whilst the 3.6 litre V6 engine was small, in comparison to some of the 5.7 litre V8's Holden now produce, the Torana's power output was impressive. The concept also featured a 6-speed heavy duty manual transmission.

The white interior may not be the most practical of choices, but it is definitely cool looking. The 20 inch rims filled out the wheel arches nicely as well.

Unfortunately, the Torana TT36 will remain a dream, but if Holden ever change their mind and shift it into production, then I would be more than interested in picking one up off the production line.
