Three new performance models join the Audi range

Audi have released 3 new models in time for Christmas. The Audi RS 4 Avant, Audi S6 V10 and Audi S8 V10.
The RS4 Avant is the station wagon version of the RS4 sedan. Personally I don't like the look of the station wagon styling wise, but can't really fault it for performance and safety. With a price tag of $168,100, if I had that sort of money I'd rather turn my attention to the S6.
The Audi S6 is kitted out with an ass slapping 5.2 litre V10 engine for an output of 320kW. Audi boast that this is the first time that a V10 engine has been incorporated into a member of the A6 family. The A6 is capable of a jaw dropping 0 to 100 km/h time of 5.2 seconds. The S6 is priced at $195,900.
The new S8 is said to feature a Lamborghini-inspired V10 engine and 331kW of power. This one takes the luxury tag up a notch, with a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System as a standard feature. Priced at $259,900 you'd expect to be getting some luxury.
Both the S6 and S8 are suitably equipped safety wise, which you would expect with their respective price tags. Both cars feature Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard as well as a full compliment of airbags and passive safety gear.
The price tags on all three models reflect their 'luxury' heritage. I'm not sure that we'll be seeing too many out on the road, but I'm sure they'd be damn fun to drive!
