Will Captiva cannibalise VE sales? That's the big question following the launch of the Captiva last week. Whilst Holden now have a product fit to compete with the Ford Territory, the big question is, will it also draw sales away from Holdens large car flagship, the Holden Commodore? If the Captiva/Commodore relationship mirrors that of the Territory/Falcon then the answer is almost certainly yes.

The only other question that remains is, will the Australian public be willing to accept another Korean sourced Holden product following the luke warm reception, and below par safety result, that accompanied the 2006 model Holden Barina?
